Hand cutout latticed patterns on newsprint paper from a single day, this series 'Fragments' is an exploration of the dialectical relationship between the habits and patterns we form in response to day-to-day living juxtaposed with the larger narrative of life and meaning making. Made during the time of the circuit breaker in Singapore,2020, the act of cutting out and burning sections of the artwork was a therapeutic process for the artist.
