Meet Medha, a fashion designer and illustrator from Chennai. Despite her degree in economics, the artist’s passion for fashion and art has been a lifelong affair, with roots in various forms of traditional art from her earliest memories.
Her journey took her to Istituto Marangoni in Milan, where she immersed herself in a vibrant, creative atmosphere that fueled her interests and aspirations in the design industry. In 2019, amidst a period of unemployment and soul-searching in the fashion world, Art By Medha Easwar was born.
Drawing inspiration from her childhood, travels, and diverse cultural experiences, Medha's art reflects a celebration of life's simplicity, which can be found in her curated art collections on Canvas & Weaves’ website. Both in life and in her creations, she values the ethos of slow living.
