About Nandini Choudhary
Nandini Choudhary, born in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is a contemporary artist known for her vibrant, textural works that seamlessly blend the luminosity of gold foil with the versatility of acrylics. Early in her artistic journey, Nandini encountered Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art form that repairs broken objects with liquid gold, embracing imperfections and transforming them into something more unique and beautiful than the original. This philosophy deeply resonated with her, illuminating the idea that brokenness can be reimagined as beauty—that what has been shattered can be restored and made whole again.
Inspired by this concept, Nandini’s collection serves as a kind of “Kintsugi for the heart.” Through intricate layers of gold and expressive strokes of acrylic, she seeks to capture moments of both light and depth, inviting viewers to look beyond the surface.
