Ka-Sha is fashion as storytelling — and Karishma Shahani Khan has been telling it with extraordinary precision since 2012.
A London College of Fashion graduate and Vogue India Fashion Fund finalist, Karishma built Ka-Sha in Pune on a single conviction: that Indian handcraft is not a heritage to be preserved in glass cases but a living, breathing practice to be worn on Tuesdays.
Ka-Sha works directly with artisan clusters, NGOs and weavers across India. Every fabric is sourced at origin. Every technique — natural dyeing, appliqué, handloom weaving, upcycling — is chosen for its integrity, not its trend appeal.
Ka-Sha dresses, co-ord sets, concept sarees, jackets, kurtas and separates are worn by women who understand the difference between a piece that was made and a piece that was created.
