Inspired by our last trip home to Canada. I think Banff is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and Moraine Lake definitely has that WOW factor. The colour of the water is so blue it's almost unbelievable and takes your breath away. The background of mountains that surround the lake is just awe-inspiring and I knew I had to paint it.The foreground features a few native flowers, just as Castilleja and Bluebells. This print was created from an original Em+Co gouache painting.
