The artist dwells on the concept of Urban life here. Grid like, compartmentalised, planned....we weave these highly structured webs every day leaving no room for chance or spontaneity. Our cities, our workspaces our homes and our schedules...they all look like this. This is a reminder of how regimented even our thoughts have become. Every now and then, it is critical that this grid is broken and some joie de vivre is let in. This is a mixed media artwork on framed plyboard incorporating jute yarn and metal bolts. The artwork belongs to the series- If Walls Could Speak.
